Nate and Charity's house right off the road. You can see the bike path in the pic on
the right.

Pics
taken while driving. This is the big inlet near Nate and Charity's house. |

Driving
through the one-lane tunnel that was originally built for a railroad. The tracks are
still there and in use by the railroad. When a train goes through, the cars have to
wait. Pretty kewl.

pics around the docks in Anchorage.

The
Alaska railroad stopping at the Anchorage station. This is a big tourist line as
well as one of Alaska's primary forms of transport as it can be very difficult to get into
the wilderness of Alaska.

Nate,
Charity, Jenny and Amy all on a cruise. They were hoping to go on the humongous boat
in the first picture, but it turns out they were in the small boat in the foreground.
They saw wildlife in the water and some glaciers and icebergs. They even saw
some of the iceberg break and fall into the water. At the end, some pictures of the
train and docks near Anchorage.

They saw
a lot of creatures... sometimes they are hard to spot but here's a look at a couple.
The right pic is out of a book but is one of the animals they saw.

Pictures
of a river they stopped near while driving.

Pictures
of the mud flats that appear when the tide is low. Some people think it's ok to walk
on them but the mud is very dangerous since it can suck you in and prevent you from
walking. In the distance, you can see Mt. McKinley.
